- This isn't entirely accurate. I had a male teacher in both third AND fourth grades. I thought they were both great.
- In 1970, women could at least vote.
- I didn't know a girl gets kicked out of Honor Society if she gets pregnant. Is that true for boys too?
- This sounds more like the 1950s than the 1970s.
- I think this title is inaccurate. Even though the injustices women went through are ridiculous, they still had more rights than say, 100 years before that right? That should at least be acknowledges because many women worked hard to even reach that point. To not acknowledge those advancements at least, I think, is very disrespectful.
- Some of this information seems exaggerated. There are no citations for where all these facts came from! Where is this authoer getting them from? In scientific writing, when you state a fact, you must cite where you got that information. Why would this be any different?
- If instead, women passed on their last names to their children, my last name would be "Little" (at least as far back as I can think in my family).
- "unproductive as having kids" I feel this is very negative. It's implying that women who choose to have kids and stay at home are not productive in any way. This is so not true. It's their choice to do that and makes a huge positive impact on the lives of the children. Women who choose to do this are very productive- maybe just not in terms of what this particular author thinks.
